报载:连云港市康平实业总公司康平精品城即将开业之际,总经理陈宽友得知灌云县鲁河乡10岁儿童卜玉萍因母亲长年有病,花去医疗费1万多元,全家8口人仅靠父亲一人种田维持生计,卜玉萍被迫辍学的消息后,毅然取消了原定举行的康平精品城开业庆典活动,决定将原打算用于庆典活动的1.5万元钱捐献给希望工程,并与连云港团市委、江苏省盐业公司团委签订了为期3年的希望工程结对助学协议。这不仅使卜玉萍圆了上学梦,同时救助了100多名失学和面临辍学的少年儿童,使他们重返校园,安心学习。
