今年87岁的老人曹凯,是陕西安塞县一名普通的离休干部。他曾参加过抗日战争、解放战争,切身体会到延安精神是中国共产党的宝贵精神财富,并长期致力于延安精神的传承和弘扬。1991年,离休后的曹凯开始广泛搜集资料,自费走访近百名老红军、老党员等,整理编写革命传统教育材料,足迹遍布北京、上海、湖南、陕西等地。同时,曹凯不辞劳苦,四处宣讲延安精神。20多年来,曹凯撰写讲稿230余篇,义务宣讲3000余场,听众达289厅人次,他也因此被誉为“读万卷书、行万里路、育百万人”的革命老人
An 87-year-old Cao Kai is an ordinary retired cadre in Ansai County, Shaanxi Province. He had participated in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation. He personally learned that the spirit of Yanan is a valuable spiritual asset of the CPC and has long been committed to the inheritance and promotion of the Yan’an spirit. In 1991, after retiring, Cao Kai began to collect extensive information and paid visits to nearly a hundred old Red Army and veteran party members at their own expenses. He compiled and compiled revolutionary traditional educational materials and traveled all over Beijing, Shanghai, Hunan and Shaanxi. At the same time, Cao Kai worked tirelessly and proclaimed the spirit of Yan’an. For more than 20 years, Cao Kai has written over 230 remarks, and has proclaimed more than 3,000 games and listeners up to 289 students. He was also praised as a revolutionary old man who read thousands of books, traveled thousands of miles and educated millions of people
