我们终于匆匆来到爱国华侨领袖陈嘉庚先生的故里厦门。一到厦门,我就称心如意地叩访了心仪已久的陈嘉庚先生故居。厦门的朋友十分热情,刚会面就口若悬河地介绍起当地得天独厚的自然形胜:素有海上花园之称的鼓浪屿,胜似日内瓦的梦幻仙境;最高峰日光岩是厦门的象征;千年古刹南普陀寺,至今仍是中国最大的国际性观音道场圣地;古军事要塞胡里山炮台,不仅有世界上最大的古炮王,还有罕见的中外奇石、古代兵器,陈列的刀、枪、剑、炮可称独一无二;名列世界十大豪华邮轮的欧洲“狮子星号”每月光临;今年将有1000万人畅游厦门,享受大海、阳光、沙滩、美食、胜景……我却迫不及待地插言:“还是先去陈嘉庚先生故居。”也许是开国元勋毛泽东对陈嘉庚先生“华侨旗帜,民族光辉”的崇高评价震撼了我的心灵;也许是陈嘉庚先生从一个普通商入的儿子到就任中央人民政府委员、全国人大常委会委员、全国政协副主席的富蕴传奇色彩的一生使我感佩莫名,我焉
