常常有人问我,孔子到底有没有信仰?这是一个非常严肃的问题。我的答案是:当然有。但是孔子从来不谈他的信仰,为什么?因为信仰是一个人内心最深刻的关怀,不能随便去说,孔子也不是宗教家。但是我们可以从他最谨慎的三件事看出他对信仰的态度。子之所慎:齐、战、疾。(《论语·述而》)孔子以慎重的态度对待的三件事是:斋戒、战争、疾病。这三件事是有顺序的。排第三的是疾病。孔子对于什么食物不吃,什么食物不多吃,非常谨慎。他生病时,会小心不乱吃药,因为古代医
People often ask me whether Confucius has faith or not. This is a very serious issue. My answer is: of course there. However, Confucius never talked about his belief, why? Because faith is the deepest concern of one’s heart, can not just say, Confucius is not a religious home. But we can see from his most cautious three things his attitude toward faith. Care of the child: homogeneous, war, disease. (“The Analects of Confucius”) The three things Confucius treated with caution were: fasting, war, disease. These three things are in order.
