美国《工程新闻记录》杂志1980年8月5日一期报道:美国肯塔基州的承包单位,最近成功地完成了一项经过精心设计的水下爆破作业,炸除了工程师兵团所属格里纳普水电站上游的一座混凝土溢流堰(分为五个堰段)。格里纳普水电站位于俄亥俄河上,电站型式为一低水头电站,装机容量7万千瓦,工程总投资1亿2千万美元。厂房结构为装配式,经预制安装后,于1981年秋浮运就位。

The Greenep Hydropower Station is located on the Ohio River. Its power station is a low-head hydropower station with an installed capacity of 70,000 kilowatts and a total investment of 120 million U.S. dollars. Plant structure for the assembly type, prefabricated installation, in the autumn of 1981 float in place.
