环境儿科学是研究环境因素对儿童疾病、健康和发育的影响,制定并实施与环境因素相关的预防、干预、治疗及康复措施,以及开展环境对儿童健康影响的评估。在新的历史时期,儿童健康面临新的挑战,突出表现在环境因素、社会因素、人们的行为和生活方式对儿童健康的影响,并构成对儿童生长发育的影响。环境儿科学是对传统儿科学的拓展。
Environmental pediatrics is the study of the impact of environmental factors on children’s disease, health and development, the formulation and implementation of environmental-related prevention, intervention, treatment and rehabilitation measures and the assessment of the impact of the environment on children’s health. In the new historical period, children’s health faces new challenges, highlighting the impact on children’s health caused by environmental factors, social factors, people’s behaviors and lifestyles, and their impact on children’s growth and development. Environmental pediatrics is the expansion of traditional pediatrics.
