周俊初,男,汉族,祖籍浙江省嵊州县,1941年生于四川省綦江县,中国共产党党员,华中农业大学教授,博士生导师。1963年从四川农学院本科毕业,随后考入湖北武汉的原华中农学院土化系。师从著名微生物学家陈华癸院士,攻读土壤微生物专业研究生。1968年毕业留校,1981?1983年赴澳大利亚悉尼大学进修。归国后,长期从事根瘤菌共生固氮研究和微生物学教学工作。2011年3月11日,周俊初教授因病医治无效,在武汉逝世。
Zhou Junchu, male, Han nationality, was born in Shengzhou County, Zhejiang Province. He was born in Qijiang County, Sichuan Province in 1941, a member of the Communist Party of China, a professor and doctoral tutor at Huazhong Agricultural University. Graduated from Sichuan Agricultural College in 1963, then admitted to Wuhan, Hubei Province, the original Huazhong Agricultural College Department of soil. Under the tutelage of famous microbiologist Chen Huagui, he studied for a graduate student in soil microbiology. Graduated from school in 1968, 1981? 1983 went to the University of Sydney, Australia. After returning home, has long been engaged in Rhizobium symbiotic nitrogen fixation and microbiology teaching. March 11, 2011, Professor Zhou Junchu invalid due to medical treatment, died in Wuhan.
