《桃花扇》和《罗密欧与朱丽叶》作为东西文学史上的巨作,它们均以一个爱情悲剧作为全文的主要和显性线索,来传达出对于社会和人生的思考。虽然其所蕴含的文化内核差异极大,但是它们都是中西戏剧在创作手法上趋于炉火纯青的巅峰之作。本文旨在通过对这两部文学作品的比较,来分析中国传统戏剧和西方戏剧在创作手法上的异同。
Peach Blossom Fan and Romeo and Juliet are the masterpieces in the history of Eastern and Western literature. They all use a tragedy of love as the main and explicit clue of the whole text to convey their thoughts on society and life. Although their cultural cores are very different, they are the pinnacle of Chinese and Western dramas in their artistic practices. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the similarities and differences between Chinese traditional drama and western drama in their creative techniques through the comparison of the two literary works.
