本文记录了对澳大利亚著名汉学家、翻译家杜博妮教授(Bonnie S.Mc Dougall)的专访。在访谈中,杜博妮教授结合自己从事汉英文学翻译工作51年的经历,分享了她对自身翻译实践的看法,以及对汉英文学翻译理论的思考,包括对译者主体性的看法、译者要“信任读者”的观点,以及不同文学体裁的翻译要点,并且强调了中国翻译活动的特殊性。最后,杜博妮教授对中国现当代文学海外传播的问题,提出了中肯的建议。
This article records an interview with Bonnie S. Mc Dougall, a famous sinologist and translator in Australia. During the interview, Professor Duboni shared her own experience in translating Chinese and English literature over the past 51 years and shared her thoughts on her own translation practice as well as his thoughts on the translation of Chinese and English literature, including her views on the translator’s subjectivity. To “trust readers” point of view, as well as the main points of translation of different literary genres, and emphasizes the particularity of Chinese translation activities. Finally, Professor Du Bonie put forward pertinent suggestions on the overseas dissemination of Chinese modern and contemporary literature.
