武汉邮电科学研究院在PCVD光纤熔炼系统的研制中取得了阶段性成果,制备出了低损耗单模光纤。研制的PCVD系统由熔炼车床、微波系统、流量柜、控制部分和真空部分等组成。微波源采用2 450MHz的连续波磁控管,最大功率为1.5kW,且连续可调。采用的原料为SiCl_4、GeCl_4、F-12和O_2,其纯度与MCVD法时相同。石英管直径为20×2mm。一根预制棒可拉3 km左右光纤。
Wuhan Post and Telecommunication Research Institute has achieved staged results in the development of PCVD optical fiber melting system and prepared low loss single mode optical fiber. The PCVD system developed by the melting lathe, microwave system, flow cabinets, control and vacuum components and other components. Microwave source using 2 450MHz continuous wave magnetron, maximum power of 1.5kW, and continuously adjustable. The raw materials used are SiCl_4, GeCl_4, F-12 and O_2, which have the same purity as the MCVD method. Quartz tube diameter of 20 × 2mm. A prefabricated rod can pull about 3 km of fiber.
