那年春天,母亲在老屋旁边的自留地里种下了一棵气柑树。她对父亲说,等到我七八岁时,就可以吃上气柑了。气柑是本地俗称,也叫团圆果,学名雪柚,属于芸香科植物。每到农历八月十五左右,气柑颜色由绿转黄,就成熟了。气柑外形浑圆呈球形,也有梨形的,每个都有一两斤重。如果不去采摘,成熟后的气柑就那么在树枝上吊着,可以一直吊到初冬时节。墨绿的树叶,橙黄的气柑,黄绿相间,让气柑树变得煞是好看。
