在遥远偏僻的滇南广南县,方圆百里的喀斯特——被人描绘为“上帝的弃土,人间的绝地”——地貌石山之中,有一个巨大无比的天然山硐,硐中生活着当今中国最大的穴居人群。这个穴居人群决非外界所讹传的“原始人”,也不是世居当地的土著少数民族,而是两百多年前从江西千里迢迢迁徙而来的一个汉族群落。 这个山硐叫岩硐、也叫岩峰硐村。硐中地面凸凹不平,有沟谷,有山包,有斜坡,有平地,也有千奇百怪的钟乳石或如宝塔矗立,或如宝剑悬垂。硐的总面积有近一个足球场那么大,气势磅礴,景色壮观。硐中所居住的李、周、唐、徐、何、任六个姓氏的汉族人家,已在这里接力度过了九代
