《新视野大学英语》系列教材是教育部普通高等教育“十五”国家级规划教材之一。本文就《新视野大学英语读写教程》1-4册的特点展开阐述,首先提到了评价的标准和内容;其次提到了其六大特色:重理论基础、重主题性教学、重词汇分类及搭配、重视学生自主学习能力的培养、重知识的连带性、重教学与测试的有机结合等。但不足之处为不够系统化、未涉及翻译理论与技巧。
“Horizons College English” series of textbooks is the Ministry of Education general higher education “fifteen ” one of the national planning materials. This article describes the characteristics of “New Horizon College English Reading and Writing Course” 1-4 volumes, first mentioned the evaluation criteria and content; secondly referred to its six major characteristics: heavy theoretical foundation, thematic teaching, heavy vocabulary classification and Collocate, pay attention to the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability, attach importance to the connection of knowledge, and emphasize the organic combination of teaching and testing. However, the inadequacies are not systematized and no translation theory and skills are involved.
