近年来,随着师范类和专业音乐艺术类院校及综合类大学成立的艺术系普遍开始音乐专业招生,从乐者的队伍也在日益壮大,但高等院校音乐专业考试是专业性极强的人才选拔考试。为了给“择优录取”提供可靠的信息依据,他们设计研制了适用于音乐专业招生考试的《音乐潜能测验方案》主要是对考生音乐记忆力和内心听觉(音高、音准、节奏、节拍、音程、和弦、调式、调性等)及表现欲等潜在的素质和能力的大小,是否具备学习音乐的基本条件,有无培养前途等作出公正、准确的预测和判断。
