Ferric polyacrylate is a new hemostatic agent. The system is prepared by polymerizing acrylic acid in an aqueous medium containing a Moore’s salt-potassium persulfate redox system. When the iron content in the polymer does not exceed 2.5%, the polymer can dissolve well in water. The amount of iron in the polymer depends on the Mohr salt
