月见草,顾名思义,月夜开放,日出凋落。这是一种只绽放给月亮看的可爱植物。它还有个美丽的英文名字:Eevening promise。以前常听到它的名字,却一直无缘亲眼看到,直到去年深秋,一位北方朋友遥寄给我一包月见草种子。随手取了几粒丢人土中,没想到几日功夫,胖胖的小苗一个接一个地冒了出来。杭州冬季的寒冷和干燥并没有打倒它们,结实的小苗努力地生长着。到了春季,整个植株看起来好像一蓬可爱的小莲座了。紧接着,中央开始迅速抽长,长出了一串串的花穗。在一个静静的夜晚,一丝陌生却沁人心脾的芬芳不期而至。寻踪望去,却是月见草不知不觉地悄悄绽放了。第二天清晨再去看,鲜明的柠檬黄色花朵已含露微闭,不张扬、不花哨,很乖巧的样子。而更多的花蕾正含苞欲放,等待着又一个夜晚的到来……
