沙县柑桔栽培面积1990年已达76,851亩,总产量10,958吨,分别比1978年增长了14.1倍和39.3倍。但在发展初期,相当部分柑桔园由于种植过密,进入盛果期后,园内树冠已密蔽,通风透光差,树冠中下部枝组生长衰退,平面结果现象愈来愈突出,果实产量、品质逐渐下降。因此,改造柑桔密蔽园成为我县当前柑桔生产上急待解决的问题。为此我们于1988—1990年进行密蔽园间移改造试验,已取得初步成效,特综述如下。一、密蔽园概况沙县大洛乡办果场于1977年建园,面积78亩,其中一片柑园25亩,定植有温蜜1700株,1979年开始投产。由于土壤和生态条件
