日军侵占崞县城(今原平市崞阳镇)后,把它的第三混成旅团部和华北派遣军晋北最高司令部都设在那里,指挥周围十余县的日伪军向我抗日根据地疯狂“扫荡”。在中国共产党和毛主席的领导下,军民团结一致,战胜重重困难,奋勇杀敌,巩固扩大了抗日根据地,并进一步围困据点,攻占碉堡,不断给敌人以沉重打击,迫使龟缩在崞县城的敌人增修工事,坐立不安。
