随着电子计算机日益成为现代科技、工业和经济的基础,计算机软件无疑将成为新兴技术和经济社会中的核心和关键的技术。目前世界软件市场的产值每年700亿美元,预计到本世纪末将达到1万亿美元。现在在美国开发和生产的软件占世界的70％,但西欧和日本不甘在软件领域方面的落后,尤其是计算机元件和硬件大国的日本,已经开始将发展软件技术列为优先发展的技术项目。
As electronic computers increasingly become the basis of modern science, technology, industry and economy, computer software undoubtedly will become the core and key technology in emerging and economic societies. At present, the output value of the world software market is estimated at 70 billion U.S. dollars annually, and it is estimated that by the end of this century it will reach 1 trillion U.S. dollars. Now 70% of the world’s software is developed and produced in the United States. However, Western and Japan unwilling to be lagging behind in the field of software, especially Japan, which is a big country of computer components and hardware, has started to give priority to the development of software technology.
