奎丰、奎丽李系新疆生产建设兵团农七师果树研究所于1970年选用“东北美丽”李(亦称窑门李)为亲本,通过自然杂交培育而成。1972年春定植,1975年始果,经过5年的连续鉴定后于1980年命名。两品种具有抗寒性强(能耐-38℃低温)、丰产、鲜食品质好、适于制干等优点。几年来,繁育苗木20余万株,栽培面积迅速扩大,目前北疆不少县、乡和农牧团场正拟以这两个品种为主栽品种,建立鲜食或制干李基地,并有9个省(区)引入试种。1984年,获农牧渔业部科技成果二等奖。主要特征特性
