T.S.Eliot is one of the most prominent poets over the world whose poem The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock shows his view of poetry.This paper analyzes the dramatic settings at the beginning and at the end of the poem from the prospect of imagery.Through detailed reading of the poem,one aspect of Eliots poetic prineiples is presented.Moreover,the theme of this poem-waste land and the individuals needs to pursue personal identity-is summed up by analyzing the images.
