看这张航海图。在海上,海船速度和海上风速都使用单位“节”来计量,1节=1海里每小时(1海里=1.852千米).现在,风正以10节的速度从北向南吹。有一条帆船从魔鬼湾出发,目的地是黑胡子湾。两地之间的距离是56海里。要计算时间,可以用下面的公式:时间=距离÷速度1.这条帆船现在的速度是6节。
Look at this chart. At sea, the speed of the seagoing vessel and the speed of the sea are measured in units of “knots”, 1 knot = 1 nautical mile per hour (1 nautical mile = 1.852 km.) The wind is now blowing from north to south at 10 knots. There is a sailing departure from Devils Bay, the destination is Black Beard. The distance between the two places is 56 nautical miles. To calculate the time, use the following formula: Time = Distance ÷ Speed 1. The sailing speed is now 6 knots.
