高絙(音耕),源于秦汉。絙即绳,从汉至唐的数百年间,又称走索、屐索、屐絙、舞絙、缘絙、绳伎、索上之戏等名。汉代的高絙艺术已初具规模,并发展到了相当高的水平。李尤在《平乐观赋》中说:“陵高屐索,踊跃旋舞”。张衡在《西京赋》写道:“跳丸剑之挥霍,走索上而相逢”。《汉官典职》载“正旦,天子行德阳殿作九宾乐,……以两大丝缠系两头,中间相去数丈,两倡女对舞.行于绳上,道逢切肩不倾……”。与文献记载大体相符的考古发现和汉画中的高絙归纳起来约有三种艺术表现形式。1.缘絙是以在绳索上爬、走为其主要艺术形式,山东邹县城关汉墓中出土的一块画像石上细致精妙地再现这种高超技艺。
