在江苏省第三届戏曲观摩会演大会上,南京市青年京剧团演出的《水斗》,在武打表演技巧上表现出武打紧密结合剧情的鲜明特色,舞台构图——画面的艺术性同思想性达到了和谐的统一,因而得到了好评。这群青年演员一方面是勤学苦练“毯子功”;“把子功”,另方面则在舞台实践中,力图把这些用于贴切地表现剧情,表现人物上。他们在党的支持下,在老师们的指导下,打破了“老戏的武打已经成熟不能再提高了”的迷信,从剧情需要出发,重新设计《水斗》的武打,删除了纯武术的“档子”。他们根据《水斗》的每一个战争场面,也即是每一次战斗的特点,来选择足以表现战斗特点的“档子”,使每一个武打场面都有特定情境和人物性格的特殊表现,给了观众以全新的感觉。
