Their hearts are lost on the moon From the summer of 1969 to December 1972, the Apollo spacecraft has sent 12 American astronauts on the moon. They also make up the world’s only 12 “moon clubs.” Just as a person is likely to change his original way of life and thinking after encountering an unexpected event or stimulus, the unique environment of the Moon and its sudden reputation have all affected the 12 astronauts in varying degrees.
