法治的最终目标在于保护公民的自由、平等及其他基本政治权利。树立司法权威是实现法治的重要内容,规范立法和依法司法是强化司法权威的基本途径。我国法治进程的冤假错案、非法执法、隐瞒信息和司法腐败问题损害了司法权威。要培养法治意识、提高执法能力、保障司法独立、完善司法监督,建设与法治进程同步的司法权威,尤为重要。
The ultimate goal of the rule of law is to protect citizens’ freedom, equality and other basic political rights. Establishing judicial authority is an important part of realizing the rule of law. Regulating the legislation and judicatory justice are the basic ways to strengthen judicial authority. The unjust and false cases, the law enforcement, the concealment of information and the judicial corruption in the process of rule of law in our country have damaged the judicial authority. It is particularly important to cultivate the awareness of the rule of law, improve the ability of law enforcement, safeguard the independence of the judiciary, improve the judicial supervision and establish the judicial authority synchronized with the progress of the rule of law.
