湖南省祁阳县第二中学校园内的原重华学堂大礼堂,建于抗战胜利后的1948年。礼堂矗立于高出地面近5米之山冈,坐北面南,砖木结构,系移用陈氏宗祠三栋正屋之砖瓦木石等遗物,在陈氏家奉佛堂延福寺原址所建,其设计者是我国著名建筑历史学家陈明达先生。为抗战结束后祁阳望族陈氏后人对振兴当地教育所做的善举。既为教育建筑,也堪称一座祁阳抗战史的纪念殿堂。
