夙愿得偿做一名人民教师,是我从小藏在心中的夙愿。1973年高中毕业后,本来我是有机会被推荐上北京邮电学院的,但我还是选择了自己热爱的职业,当了一名人民教师。刚参加工作,我被分配到罗义坡小学。学校在一个山窝里,开门见山,抬脚要爬山,放脚要下山,全村只有四五户人家,加上邻近几个小庄,也只不过七八户人家。学校设在一孔窑洞里,窄小低下,阴暗潮湿,桌凳残缺不全,而这样一孔土窑洞还要一分为二,既做教室又做宿舍,条件简陋,生活艰苦。为此,几任教师都是教不了几个月就调走了。听说来了新教师,村里人都怀着好奇和歉疚的心情陆续来看望我,孩子们听说来了新老师,三三两两挤在一起,穿着补丁衣服,腼腆地站在稍远的地方,眼睁睁地瞧着我。一位七十多岁的老大爷握着我的手说:“席老师,我们村条件不好,桌凳被娃娃们
