为了“发展体育运动,增强人民体质”,和促进中外体育交流的需要,1975年我省在南京兴建了一座可容纳一万名观众的体育馆。该馆位于市区五台山,南北有广州路、上海路等干道通过,交通方便,观众可以多路集散而不干扰市区交通(图1、2)。体育馆东面为容5万人的田径场,附近尚有练习场、游泳池、跳水池等,并拟建游泳馆及球类练习馆,这一地区将成为本市的体育中心。 体育馆建筑总面积17,930平方米,檐口高25.2米。比赛大厅面积5,010平方米,天花高20米,大厅体积76,660立
In order to “develop sports and enhance people’s physique” and promote the need for exchanges between Chinese and foreign sports, in 1975 our province built a gymnasium that can accommodate 10,000 spectators. The museum is located in Wutai Mountain in the urban area. There are passages such as Guangzhou Road and Shanghai Road in the north and south. The traffic is convenient. The audience can gather multiple routes without disturbing the urban traffic (Figures 1 and 2). On the east side of the stadium is an athletic field with a capacity of 50,000 people. There are also a driving range, swimming pools, diving pools, etc., and a swimming pool and ball practice hall is planned to be built. This area will become the city’s sports center.
