日照市地处鲁东南沿海,古属东夷之地。境内史前文化遗存丰富,已作过一些调查和研究。但对这一地区商周时期东夷民族活动的情况及其国属、疆域诸问题了解不多。近年来我们注意有关文物的收集,结合田野考古调查和资料整理工作,发现日照市周代文化遗存分布面较广,见于全市各乡镇(图一)。但除崮河崖等个别地点新发现的铜器资料已报道外,其余资料均未发表。因此本文将建国以来在
Rizhao City is located in the southeastern coast of Shandong, the ancient land of East Yi. Domestic prehistoric cultural relics are rich, have made some investigations and studies. However, they did not know much about the ethnic activities of Dongyi in the Shang and Zhou Dynasties and their nationality and territory. In recent years, we have paid attention to the collection of cultural relics, combined with field archeological surveys and data collation, and found that the cultural relics of the Rizhao City were distributed widely in the Zhou Dynasty and found in all townships and towns in the city (Figure 1).
