With the conclusion of the Copenhagen conference, the term low-carbon economy has become the focus of political, industrial and academic circles in our country. With the rapid development of 30 years of reform and opening up, China’s total economy has surpassed Germany’s ranking as the third in the world and has become another major world economy that follows the United States and the European Union. However, there are many problems hidden behind the joy. Due to extensive development for many years, China’s industrial production is mostly “two high and one foreign-funded” enterprises, causing great damage to the environment. If China wants to continue its path of sustainable development, it must change its existing Economic development model, profoundly understand and apply the concept of a low-carbon economy, and implement the low-carbon act in all aspects of the national production and life so as to achieve the adjustment of the industrial structure of our country so that the economy will maintain rapid and efficient growth.
