太平天国对中国传统文化与西方基督教文化均有所继承,实为中西文化共同熏陶的产物。太平天国制度并不尽法周礼。受传统文化熏陶的太平天国领导人不可能去追求君主专制制度以外的政治思想。尽管太平天国酝酿、发动与进行正值两次鸦片战争之间,但这一背景特别是所谓西方文化的影响不应被强调。太平天国发源于广西客家山区,客家文化和客家族群心态深刻影响了太平天国政治。
The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom inherits both Chinese traditional culture and Western Christian culture, which is the product of the common influence of Chinese and Western cultures. Taiping Heavenly Kingdom system does not rule the week. It is impossible for the leaders of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, influenced by traditional culture, to pursue political ideas other than monarchy. Although the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom brewing, launching and carrying on two occasions between the Opium War, but this background, especially the so-called Western culture should not be emphasized. The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom originated from the Hakka mountainous area in Guangxi. The Hakka culture and the Hakka mentality profoundly influenced the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom politics.
