By measuring the surface temperature of slab and the thickness of solidified shell, the average heat transfer coefficient and the total solidification coefficient of each cooling zone are obtained. Combined with various influencing factors, the current status of the second cooling technology of the existing caster is evaluated, which provides an important basis for the optimization of the second cooling system and the efficient production of the caster.
