从化县中小学的劳动教育,开展得比较好。全县243所中小学,有210所办了小农场或小林场,有21所办了小工厂(小工厂17间,生活服务部10个)。劳动基地有5200亩,其中水田有80亩,山坡地有5120亩。目前,种上杉500000株、荔枝柑橙9100棵、杂树和竹85000棵。饲养鹅、鸡、鸭、猪、鱼为数也不少。该县82年被评为广东省和全国勤工俭学先进单位。
Labor education in primary and secondary schools in Conghua County has been carried out relatively well. There are 243 primary and secondary schools in the county, 210 small farms or small forest farms and 21 small factories (17 small factories and 10 service centers). The labor base has 5,200 acres, of which 80 acres of paddy fields, hillsides have 5120 acres. At present, there are 500,000 species of Uesugi, 9,100 lychee oranges, 85,000 miscellaneous trees and bamboos.
