周弘在“赏识教育的理念”中提出:赏识教育就是父母教孩子学说话走路的教育;赏识教育是承认差异、允许失败、符合生命成长规律的教育;赏识教育是让父母孩子都学会翘起大拇指的教育。老师和学生之间就如同父母和孩子。赏识对于成长中的学生来说至关重要,赏识可以激发他们的内在动力,可以更好地帮助他们扬长避短,克服自卑、懦弱心理,树立自信心。有了自信,一切困难就都有可能克服。

Teachers and students are like parents and children. Appreciation is crucial for growing students. Appreciation can stimulate their intrinsic motivation and can help them better to avoid weaknesses, overcome their inferiority, their weakness and build their confidence. With confidence, it is possible to overcome all difficulties.
