《美国地震学会通报》(B.S.S.A.)1976年12月第66卷6期1965至2016页依次刊登了三篇有关研究中国地震活动的论文,其中卡德韦尔(R.K.Cardwell)和伊萨克斯(B.L.Isacks)写的《用“联合震中测定法”考察1966年中国北部的地震序列》及约克(J.E.York)、卡德韦尔和倪(J.Ni)写的《中国的地震活动性及第四纪断层》两文,我们已将全文初步译出,拟编印在1978年度的《国外地震》上,现先将这两篇文章以及另一篇由李(W.H.K.Lee)、吴(F.T.Wu)和雅各布森(CarlJacobsen)写的《根据最近的中国出版物编制的一部中国历史地震目录》文章的原“摘要”,译载如下,供参考。
The Sept. Seismological Bulletin, December 1976, Volume 66, Number 6, pp. 1965-2016, followed by three papers on seismic activities in China, of which RK Cardwell and BLIsacks “Using the Joint Epicenter Method to Investigate the Seismic Sequences of North China in 1966,” and JEYork, Cadewell and J. Ni, “Earthquake Activity in China and Quaternary We have already translated the full text and are planning to print it on the 1978 Foreign Earthquake. The two articles and another article by WHKLee, Wu (FT) and The original ”Abstract“ of the article entitled ”Catalog of a Chinese Historical Earthquake Prepared Based on Recent Chinese Publications" by Jacob Jacobsen is reproduced below for reference.
