王国宪(1853～1938),原名国栋,字用五,又字圣轩,号尧云,晚年号更生老人。海南省琼山谭文镇青草村人,后移居琼山府城。7岁考中案首(秀才第一名)。清光绪二十年(1894),考中广东第一名优贡,后在广州广雅书院深造。曾任广东省乐昌县教谕、广东省议会议员等职。归琼后,先后掌教经研书院、琼台书院。1917年,任琼山中学校长。1923年参与创建私立琼海中学(今海南中学),担任校董和国文老师。建校初期,不领薪金,
