徐邦达,祖籍浙江海宁,1911年7月生于上海。字孚尹,号李庵,别号心远生,晚号蠖叟,著名书画家、诗人、书画鉴定家和收藏家,有“华夏辩画第一人”与“徐半尺”之誉。历任国家文物局文物处业务秘书、故宫博物院研究员、中央文物鉴定委员会常务理事、国家文物鉴定委员会委员等职,系中国博物馆学会名誉理事、西泠印社顾问、九三学社社员。故宫博物院书画馆所藏珍品《高呼与可》《出师颂》等均是故宫博物院的镇院之宝,每次看到它们,徐邦达的心头总不能平静。正是他——这位中国当代最著名的书画鉴定家和收藏家参与鉴定,并极力促成,这两件宝贝才最终走进故宫博物院。而在他从事书画鉴定的80多年里,为国家鉴考、收购、征集传世名迹已不下数万件。2012年2月23日,101岁高龄的“国宝”徐邦达安然辞世。
