Analog Devices' Linear Technology (LTC5552), a dual-balanced mixer, offers best-in-class bandwidth matching capabilities in the 3GHz to 20GHz range. This mixer can be used as upconverter or downconverter. The LTC5552 is especially suited for upconversion applications because of its LO-like proximity to RF in its DC-capable differential IF port. Its low LO to RF leakage (less than -25d Bm) greatly reduces the external filter burden.
