Multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignant tumor of clonal hyperplasia of plasma cells that occurs in the elderly. Its performance is diverse and the rate of misdiagnosis is high. It is reported that the misdiagnosis rate of this disease may reach over 60% [1]. Our hospital from September 2002 to August 2004 MM6 cases were diagnosed and treated, of which 4 cases were misdiagnosed.
