长期以来，陇东油田油气集输系统一直应用多级离心泵进行油气输送，其缺点是离心泵流道易结垢，设备完好率低，泵效低，能耗高，管理难度大。为此，在主要集输干线悦一阜一中管线应用了柱塞泵输油工艺。经过２年多的试验表明，柱塞泵输油具有“再启动”性能优良、输油泵效高、工艺性能可靠、并泵输油效率高、节能效果显著的优点，完全能满足陇东油田油气集输系统主要输油干线上的输油工艺要求。
