杭州高新技术产业开发区自1990年3月经浙江省人民政府批准建立以来,依托建成区原有的基础设施起步,已接纳进区企业367家,其中认定为高新技术企业的有221家。“三资”企业79家,总投资1.687亿美元,协议外资9686万美元。其中已有170余家企业基本投入正常运行。至1994年底,累计实现工业总产值15亿元,技工贸总收入17亿元,利税2.95亿元,出口创汇1640万美元。走出了一条投入少,起步快,效益较好的路子。杭州人自豪地称自己的产业区为“天堂硅谷”
Since its establishment in March 1990 through the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, Hangzhou Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone has embarked on the operation of the existing infrastructures in Jiancheng District with 367 enterprises admitted to the zone, including 221 identified as high-tech enterprises. 79 “three-capital” enterprises with a total investment of 168.7 million U.S. dollars and an agreement of 96.66 million U.S. dollars foreign capital. More than 170 of them have basically put into operation. By the end of 1994, a total of 1.5 billion yuan in total industrial output value, 1.7 billion yuan in technology, industry and trade, profits and taxes of 295 million yuan and foreign exchange earnings of 16.4 million U.S. dollars have been accumulated. Out of a less investment, starting fast, better efficiency of the road. Hangzhou is proud to call its own industrial zone “Paradise Silicon Valley”
