The Origin of Modern Indicators Beijing News: The Report 2004 states that in 2000 and 2001, all of China belonged to the first-class developed countries. Is this inconsistent with the formulation that China is a developing country? He Chuanqi (hereinafter referred to as “what”): It is not contradictory at all. Based on the GNP per capita, the World Bank divides more than 190 countries in the world into three groups: high-income countries, middle-income countries and low-income countries, high-income countries as developed countries and low- and middle-income countries for development Chinese home. Here comes the reference to China as a developing country. While China is the first developed country’s formulation is based on the modernization index.
