乐山轸溪石膏矿位于乐山市西南50余公里的轸溪公社,面积约13平方公里。构造位置处于范店背斜与四峨山背斜之间次一级构造的自家岭向斜之东南翼,倾角平缓,一般为5～10度。出露地层为三迭系下统嘉陵江组(T_1j),中统雷口坡组(T_2l)及第四系。区内嘉陵江组划分为四段(即T_1j~1、T_1j~2、T_1j~3、T_1j~4)其中第一段未出露,深部也未钻到。嘉陵江组(T_1j)与雷口坡组(T_2l)的分界以“绿豆岩”为标志,以“绿豆岩”底以上划归雷口坡组。雷目坡在本区分为两个岩性段,第一段(T_2l)为一套泥质岩为主,夹碳酸岩地层,与
Leshan Zhenzhou gypsum mine is located in Leshan City, 50 kilometers southwest of the commune Zhenxi, an area of about 13 square kilometers. The tectonic position is in the southeast wing of the sub-level syncline of the Fanling anticline and the Sanshan anticline, with a gentle dip angle of 5 to 10 degrees. The exposed strata are Triassic Lower Jialingjiang Formation (T_1j), Central Leopou Slope Formation (T_2l) and Quaternary.
