去年,各种腐败案件似乎进入一个密集曝光期。其中不乏“天文数字”。2008年4月11日,中共中央政治局原委员、上海市委原书记陈良宇被天津市第二中级法院以受贿罪、滥用职权罪判处有期徒刑十八年。最高人民法院副院长黄松有10月28日被全国人大常委会免职,涉嫌4亿元贪污案。江苏省苏州市原副市长姜人杰因受贿1亿多元人民币,被南京市中级人民法院一审判处死刑。《检察日报·廉政周刊》反腐倡廉年度报告(2008)的出炉,其中公布的反腐典型案件,体现了我们党反腐倡廉的决心和威慑力,必将起到敲山震虎的作用。
Last year, various corruption cases seemed to have entered a period of intense exposure. There’s no shortage of “astronomical numbers.” On April 11, 2008, Chen Liangyu, former member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and former secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for accepting bribes and abusing power by the Second Intermediate People’s Court of Tianjin. Huang Song, vice president of the Supreme People’s Court, was dismissed by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on October 28 in connection with the alleged corruption of 400 million yuan. Jiang Zijie, former vice mayor of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, was sentenced to death for first instance by the Nanjing Intermediate People’s Court for accepting bribes of more than 100 million yuan. The procuratorate daily and anti-corruption weekly report (2008) released its anti-corruption typical case, reflecting our party’s determination and deterrence against corruption and advocating deterrence and will surely serve as a knockdown.
