香港会堂,是香港的政治和公共文化活动中心。会堂位于香港中区爱丁堡广场,北濒维多利亚港,南临夏悫道,隔路有香港会和富丽华酒店等建筑。整个香港会堂,由五部份组成。中间是主要入口、休息厅、舞厅和宴会厅。东部相邻的是大音乐厅。南部毗连着小剧场。西南角是幢12层高的楼房,里面设有结婚登记处、美术馆、图书馆、讲堂和办公室等房间。地段的西北角是个纪念庭院,由建筑物和柱廊围绕。庭院里布置着绿地、铺地和小池。纪念庭院的中心盖了一座六边形的纪念馆,用来纪念二次大战中牺牲的烈士。由建筑物中部的大休息厅,可
The Hong Kong Hall is Hong Kong’s political and public cultural activity center. The hall is located at Edinburgh Place in Central District, Hong Kong, Victoria Harbour in the north, and Harcourt Road in the south. It is lined with buildings such as Hong Kong Club and Furama Hotel. The entire Hong Kong Hall consists of five parts. In the middle is the main entrance, lounge, ballroom and banquet hall. Adjacent to the east is a large concert hall. There is a small theatre adjacent to the south. The southwest corner is a 12-storey building with a marriage registration office, an art gallery, a library, a lecture hall and an office. The northwest corner of the lot is a memorial courtyard surrounded by buildings and colonnades. The courtyard is decorated with green areas, paving areas and a small pool.
