英国《每日邮报》6月26日报道,英国苏格兰目前正受到一大波蚊虫的侵袭,导致当地旅游业损失惨重。已有100多人参与义务捕蚊。根据预测,苏格兰旅游业因受蚊虫影响,将在一年中损失2.86亿英镑(约合27.3亿元人民币)。如今,全苏格兰正组织志愿者进行蚊虫捕杀。志愿者会对捕捉到的蚊虫进行拍照,并将照片传回蚊虫预测中心进行数字分析。当地蚊虫预测中心已经成立11年,为人们提供蚊虫叮咬信息,告知出行者苏格兰哪些地区蚊虫叮咬几率高。
The British “Daily Mail” reported on June 26, Scotland, the United Kingdom is currently being hit by a wave of mosquitoes, resulting in heavy losses of the local tourism. More than 100 people have participated in voluntary mosquito traps.
