湿地松、火炬松是生长快,材质好,干形圆满通直,适应性强的优良速生用材树种。从我国引种三、四十年的历史证明,是南方丘陵山区的重要造林树种之一。为了尽快扩大种源,1973年开始,我场职工,在场党委的直接领导下,进行了春、夏、秋、冬不同季节,扦插育苗试验,以及母树年龄,采穗部位,生长激素处理对成活率影响的比较。经过不断改进扦插和管理措施,目前一般成活率为40-50%,最高达90%以上。苗木生长健壮,根系发育良好,长势喜人,平均苗高8-24厘米,最高达36厘米。累计扦插国外松苗10.6万株。出圃造林成活率在90%以上,生长量与实生苗相近。现将我们的具体做法介绍如下:
