Sweden Ericsson Microwave Systems has developed a POinter short-range air defense surveillance radar for the day, has now reached the prototype stage. The system is a three-coordinate all-solid-state radar that can be integrated with short-range air defense missile systems such as Mistral, Stinger and Starburst.
