休宁是个小县城,总人口不足2万。近几年,由于大力开展灭鼠工作,1989年鼠密度由7%降至2%(鼠夹法)。但因巩固措施不力,1990年灭鼠前密度又回升到16.2%(粉迹法),有的甚至高达30%以上。为寻找行之有效的巩固灭鼠成果的方法,我们特邀温州电猫厂进行现场灭鼠表演,选择食品厂仓库、车间为样地,12月9日布网白天即击毙鼠6只,当晚在仓库击毙8只,10日在海阳饭店县城灭鼠现场
